What to Expect with REMS

Book your appointment.
Book an appointment with one of the BoneForte Network Providers or use the BoneForte Patient Portal to self-schedule your REMS scan appointment. If you're outside the Central North Carolina area, find a REMS clinic event near you.

Come in for your scan.
During your appointment, an experienced REMS technician will preform the non-invasive REMS scan without use of radiation, ensuring you have a pleasant evaluation appointment.

Receive your REMS results.
Your results will be posted into your secure patient portal account, with graphic interpretations to help you understand your risks. See a sample patient report.

Discuss your results and next steps toward bone health.
Schedule an optional in-person or zoom meeting with Dr. Bush to talk through your report, receive a more personal explanation of your results and ask questions, and discuss recommended courses of action or beneficial lifestyle changes based on your results. Consult appointments have an additional fee, so look for the scheduling options when making your appointment.
